Miller and Carter: when a steakhouse dares to NOT be different

I love steak. I know, I know, it’s a travesty to admit these things in this day and age, but there is something so sinfully irresistible about a quickly melting slab of herb butter on a sizzling ribeye. It’s been such a rough year, and if there is one constant that I can always rely on to pick me up, it’s great food. So when a Miller & Carter presents itself as an establishment that has prevailed through the years, unwavering in its standard of exquisite steak, I am completely and utterly sold. The sides were also incredible. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of substandard steak, on my lifelong hunting trail (again, so politically incorrect!) for the best steak anywhere. Tip: Expensive doesn’t always equate to good.

The blue Stilton salad my hubby ordered was even more amazing than mine with honey mustard and British bacon (British bacon is bacon on steroids)
That’s an onion slice on the left. It sounded so innocuous on the menu but turned out to be a deliciously condensed version of onion rings
Who orders a filet mignon? Well you really can’t go wrong with M&C’s
Sautéed greens to make the meal feel slightly more healthy
Panna cotta to end off a perfect meal
