After resisting raw and seared salmon for 10 whole months, I am definitely making up for lost time post-delivery.
Also, being back at work and in the office means lunch is one of the highlights to my weekday.
Today I decided to indulge in a $19.90 (Singapore dollars that is) rice bowl, topped with blowtorched salmon, mentaiko (spicy cod roe in mayonnaise), and seasoned seaweed. There was a teriyaki dressing in there as well, which made the rice ever more flavourful.
This was definitely worth queuing up for, and I reckon it won’t be too long before I return.
