For all his faults, my husband is a genius, an expert, when it comes to ordering food. It was truly one of those traits that made me fall instantly for him. After all, and as I often say, food is my language of love. So tonight he decided to order delivery from an Italian restaurant near our house. We had eaten there before, or at least at one of its sister outlets, but it didn’t make that much of an impression let alone a good one! And yet tonight we were all in consensus over how delightful the meal was; every dish was worthy of commendation and in fact each of us had our individual favourites. Mine was the lasagna and margarita pizza, my husband and my mother in law’s the pepperoni pizza (not photographed) and the caprese. All in all, a lovely selection of homecooked Italian favourites that satiated our mouths and our bellies.
